CREATE's Workshop Policies
Registration and Cancellation Policy
Please note, that registration is on a first come, first served basis. We encourage prospective students to register early so they can secure a spot in their preferred workshop. Some workshops may fill up, while others may be cancelled due to low enrollment. If CREATE Center for the Arts has to cancel a workshop, all registered workshop students will be notified and their workshop fees will be refunded within 30 days. Cancellations will usually occur no later than 30 days before the start of a workshop.
If an enrolled workshop student wishes to cancel their registration, a $75 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund, if the cancellation is requested more than 30 days in advance of the first day of the workshop. Please note that, no refunds will be given if a workshop student cancels within 30 days of the start of the workshop. We understand that sometimes there are unforeseen circumstances, but due to committed expenses on the part of CREATE Center for the Arts, we are unable to make exceptions. No refunds will be given if a workshop student decides to voluntarily discontinue participation in the workshop.
Members of CREATE Center for the Arts are given discounts to workshops as a benefit of their membership. For more information on memberships including how to join, click here.
Memberships are valid for one year following the date of joining. Memberships are not retroactive. If you decide to become a member after purchasing one of our workshops at the nonmember price, the difference will not be refunded so, please plan accordingly.

Notwithstanding these risks, workshop students wish to voluntarily participate in the workshop. As part of the workshop, workshop students shall receive proper instruction for safe use of the equipment available during the workshop. Workshop students also understand that they may request additional safety and/or operating instructions for the equipment, at any time during the workshop. Workshop students understand that they are under no obligation to continue the workshop if they find that they are unwilling or incapable of safely operating the equipment. CREATE Center for the Arts reserves the right to deny participation in any workshop to anyone, at any time.
